Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Mike Hews began his artistic journey at 12 years old. Initially starting as an aspiring producer, he would soon developed a taste for lyricism, which would eventually become the heart of all of his work going forward. Returning to his roots, Hews has produced most of his most recent projects to ensure a tailored experience for the listener. As it was in the beginning, lyricism is still at the core of every production, with the goal of speaking for those without a voice and providing a meaningful message to those who need to hear.
